When I started this blog in the middle of my senior year of high school, I knew that I was about to enter into one of the craziest and most important times in my life. I knew that the decisions I made and dreams I had would affect the rest of my life and I wanted a place to record it all. This blog has been my way of recording what happened to me as I fell in love with theater,completed my senior year of high school, left home and went to college, where I am currently majoring in costume design and have fallen in love with working on films. It is currently my way of recording what happens to me as I explore this phase of my life. this blog is about my accomplishments, my failures, my projects, my opinions, my fears, and anything else I encounter as this new chapter of my life unfolds.
When I look back at some old posts on my blog, to be honest, I get totally embarrassed and have to use some self control in not deleting them. My love of theater started in high school. getting the lead in a school musical made me fall in love of acting, so I went to college with the plan to audition for some stuff and see what happened. After a while, I realized that that wasn't at all what I wanted to do, and design is where my heart really is. I began doing costume design for theater, and through some really lucky occurrences have started doing costuming for film, which I absolutely love! As my dreams and goals have changed, I have learned so much about myself, and I am so much happier than I thought possible. I don't know what the rest of my life holds, but as I figure it out I hope to record it all here so I can share this crazy ride with you!
